Assessment and Latest Results

In accordance with the National Curriculum, the work and progress of your child will be regularly assessed. In Reception and Years 1, 3, 4 and 5 this assessment is mainly teacher assessment, supported by standardised tests where appropriate.

In Year 2 and Year 6 all children complete statutory testing in the form of SATs (Standardised Assessment Tests.) 

Children in Year 1 will take the phonic screening test. Children who did not met the level expected in Year 1, retake the check in Y2.
 
Children in Reception be assessed against the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.
